Rebel Media reporter Tommy Robinson says he was approached by Scotland Yard, who want him to help them with “bringing down” Britain First.
Robinson said, “Frankly, there is a massive campaign, I could tell you firsthand.”
The deputy leader of Britain First Jayda Fransen, was recently flown to Belfast, to be charged by the police for “threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour” – state action that some would deem a severe violation of freedom of speech – and is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on 14 December.
Meanwhile, the party’s leader Paul Golding has been accused of and is under investigation following allegations of sexual assault.
The Rebel Media reporter continued, “When I was in custody, I was approached by a secretive organisation in Scotland Yard called Metropolitan Intelligence Bureau asking me to work for them in bringing down Britain First.”
“That is the deep state. We have a democracy, people have the right to express freedom and free speech, and that’s what Britain First do.”
He was commenting on Donald Trump’s retweeting of videos posted by Fransen when he made the claim.
“The whole country’s talking about Donald Trump and Jayda Fransen – we had a terror attack stopped two days ago which was in preparation with weapons by a man in Birmingham and a man in London. Why is that not the topic?”
